Spring Has Sprung

Although it is still nasty elsewhere, it really has been very mild here and I have come to admit that spring has sprung. Of course we still may have a frost of two and the rain is back but there are flowers to enjoy.

Kitchen Nine Patch

Finally I have finished my second Nine Patch but I do not yet have a photo.

In the process of making the two quilts I made a few extra blocks. I decided to turn them into kitchen quilt potholders. And although this was a somewhat lazy decision and did not really fit into my plan to work on stretching my skills. I did do a little more quilting than is usual and I worked on quilting circles more or less free hand. So I stretched a little.

Second Nine Patch

A few of the problems of having no design board. Not only does your neck get sore from looking down at an angle, fiendish cats insist on getting in on the act.
